Pros and cons of SimpleChess - chess game app for iPhone and iPad

SimpleChess - chess game app good for

Nice chess application, with good level of the players and the ability to play for free. Two bug fixes required : 1- mobile players lose time as there is a delay in the chronometer after every move. 2- sometimes (in the middle of the game), the connection is lost.
I tried all of them in appstore but this one is the best.A lot of players are online around the clock. One year membership for 5€ is a gift.Lag is very short.Name says all, you can simply play chess...Keep up good work...
This app has the sharpest interface and best response time and best overall feel of any online chess app. I have tried them all and this one rocks.

Some bad moments

Very buggy running in iOS 8, repeatedly crashing and display problems. The most recent update didnt resolve issues.
I take back my 5 star rating. This app is Ok. I was terribly wrong to rate it five stars. I take my chess very seriously, the longer you play on the chess server, the weirder things get, especially usernames. Im trying to play chess, not world of Warcraft.
Trust me when I say this is one of the three best online chess apps for iPhone. You can get a game like right now. Im not a GM, but I found the play level to be real strong. Simple chess will scratch your chess itch.
Easily the BEST online chess app for iPad and iPhone. Good stats tracking, good amount of players. No cheats no droppers. Saves your finished games for you to review later. Really worth it.
Best chess app in the iPhone bar none. The interference is second to none.
The app works as advertised. It loads and runs very quickly and it is great for a quick game online. The interface is clean and well designed. Response times are excellent. Stability seems very good as well. There seems to be a large number of players online all the time. I never had to wait more than a couple of seconds to find an opponent for a 3 or 5 minute blitz game. The level of the opposition ranges from beginners to strong club players. I did not see any master level or higher players. You can play for free or register ($5/year iPad or iPhone only). So registering is relatively inexpensive and you can have a rating and keep track of your games. Ratings seem oddly inflated. I am a 1700 rated blitz player but here for some reason I rank about 2200! Go figure. Some nice features are clearly missing - maybe they will be added in later versions: there is no chess engine for a quick blunder check or analysis of a previous game. There is no chat feature. And the replay feature, while present, has a very small button for playing through a game. Competing programs, such as Chess.com and Playchess.com seem less attractive to me because the formers interface and offer seem clunkier to me while the latter seems too expensive (and its free trial expires.) The only other nice alternative, in my opinion is CoreChess which works with FICS.
